The Galloway Kite Trail

Red kites can often be seen in the sky from the cottage garden. These spectacular birds were recently re-established into Kirkcudbrightshire and have provided an exciting bird-watching opportunity for locals and visitors alike.

The Kite Trail is a route around the Loch Ken area where interpretation boards, hides, information shelters and walks, including a short path to a feeding station, have been provided.
